So what do you think Obama's reaction was when he saw the
"shoe video"? How about Clinton's reaction or Gore's?
I would really have like to have seen those reactions.
Did they laugh their butts off like I did, or were they more dignified?

1. Obama probably credited Bush* for his fast reflexes...

Hillary Clinton might have enjoyed it with Bill a bit more... Al, oh, hell, Al is transcendent. Anyone able to get past the 2000 theft has to be absolutely transcendent, yet given his strong anti-war admonishments throughout, I imagine he empathized considerably with the Iraqi journalist's motivations.

4. We were wondering about how slow the secret service was,
but then figured they were laughing too hard to move quickly.

8. Maybe the best
of the Secret Service have already been transferred to covering Obama. At least that's what I'm telling myself to explain that pitifully slow response.

6. I have no doubt that it gave Obama a shiver. Obama inherits this mess.

7. it's a heavily ironic, sad and kind of scary commentary on Bush's presidency

what if someone had thrown something dangerous? As much as I dislike the Pres, his horrible indifference and lack of wisdom, I don't want to see him physically harmed.

In the same sense that I would not want to see anyone (Bush or Obama) physically harmed.
