1. I like the back up singers on this one better.

This was my dad's favorite song.

When I was leaving to go home after staying with my step-mom when Dad died, this song was on the radio when I started my car.

5. Aww... that had to shake you to your core...

Sometimes life's synchronicity can be brutal.

I've been a life long Neil Diamond fan, but when I turn the radio on in Los Angeles, I mostly hear Led Zeppelin. Not complaining! :)

6. It really was amazing.
My step mom was standing next to the car when I started it up and we both started crying.

A couple of years later I sang at for her at karaoke.

7. Wow... that's some heavy stuff there...
I'm such a sap, I would have never been able to get through it!

I sang "Grandpa" at my grandpa's funeral, and I can't get past the first line now... it's been almost 20 years! I'm not sure how I got through it that day!

Sap... sappy ol' sap.

2. Dum! Dum! Dum!
Lookit that, a ready-made theme song. :-)

It's so cool he wrote that about her.

3. I LOVE the back up vocals on this.
My cousin Kim and I used to just belt that out with Dad singing lead.
