He made me feel petty...
I don't give a shit about Lieberman anymore, but just after the election I, along with others really wanted to kick his rat ass! I still do, but who cares? Anyhoo..I got this response letter today and I must admit it made me feel a tad bit small and petty! LOL!

Dear xxx:

Thank you for contacting me regarding Senator Joseph Lieberman's standing in the United States Senate. I was glad to hear your thoughts on this issue.

Due to actions by Senator Lieberman during the 2008 presidential campaign, some individuals made the suggestion that he should no longer be allowed to caucus with members of the political party of which I am a member (we are not allowed to use the actual names of the political parties in official Senate correspondence) or to retain his chairmanship of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. Certainly, I was disappointed in Senator Lieberman's actions; but I chose to follow the lead of President-Elect Barack Obama, who stated that now is a time for reconciliation, not retribution. As such, I voted in favor of allowing Senator Lieberman to keep his chairmanship, and I fully expect that Senator Lieberman will continue to caucus with our party during the 111th Congress.

Thank you once again for contacting me to share your thoughts. Please do not hesitate to contact me again in the future on issues which are important to you.

Sincerely,

Ben Nelson
U.S. Senator

**He just had to include the words "reconciliation and not retribution" to make me feel small! Whatever!! LOL

3. missy!
I read that and cracked up laughing....I sent a pretty nasty little note basically telling him to "man up" and vote the right way. I'm sure the person reading it said I was flipping nuts and just got around to sending the "response" email.
