Warren will say a prayer at the inauguration, and boom, he's done. They'll part ways. It's not as if Warren is being appointed to his Cabinet or anything.

I wonder how many of the people crucifying Obama now were Hillary supporters back in the day arguing that Hillary associating herself with the likes of Mark Penn wasn't important. Hmmm....

5. Who also appeared at one rally, rather than be a senior advisor to Obama
A bit less minor than having a disgusting piece of trash like Mark Penn as a senior advisor.

Oh which pastor was it now that Obama is going to have as his right hand man?

9. HAHA
Well you know now that he's kept Gates, it just goes to show Obama is a right wing nut.

I keep losing track of what is the truth since I've been reading too much on DU today.

not a Hillary supporter.

And I'm furious at this stupid decision of his.

12. A Blackwater propagandist vs. a pastor with some misguided views?
Yeah you're right, there's comparison. Penn is a war criminal who belongs in the Hague, Warren is one of a million.

13. It is bad policy that resonates and affects peoples' lives.
While Warren's inclusion in the inauguration ceremony is an affront to the LGBT community, it is bad policy such as DADT and the Defense of Marriage Act (and Junior's parting gift - The Right of Conscience Act) that actually affect the freedom and quality of lives.

It is that kind of perspective that seems lost on these boards.

I will be looking to President Barack Obama to prove his a "fierce advocate of LGBT issues" by his policies after he is sworn in 1-20-09.

14. I wonder if you know what you are talking about, hmm?
No, you don't know.

By the way, if you confuse criticism of Obama for putting a bigoted gay basher on the big day's agenda with crucification, I don't expect much from your analysis.

One would almost imagine you think of Obama as Christ-like. Or is that just so much more exaggeration on your part?

I think putting Hill in the SOS spot was a mistake. But putting Warren on the stage is wrong.

(This post was made without any harm (especially without crucification) caused to Barack Obama)

18. There is a 3rd category.
Obama supporters who are appalled by this and are not "crucifying" Obama. If anything, I am disappointed with the response on DU.

19. Um, let me see, yes indeed
the level of bullshit uttered in defense of the indefensible has now reached the point of regurgitating the same old crap from the presidential and primary contests.

Congratulations.

Is Ayers being given an honored spot at the inauguration? Is he still plotting armed insurrection against the state? Are there any actual leftists in the Obama administration?
