Obama is not adopting Warren's ideas or beliefs. All he's doing is trying to get his strong opponents to see that he's not such an evil man, and on the issues where they agree, like climate change & helping the poor, maybe they won't push their Pub Reps & Sens to fight his efforts.

For US to slam Warren as a completely evil person is no different that his supporters slamming all of US as evil too. Can't you see that Obama is trying to find come common ground? I think it's worth a try. SOMETHING has to dispell the constant fighting between the two sides. YES it was generated by the RW Pubs, but a GOOD negotiator can change it.

And for the record, I actually think polygamy should be allowed, as long as all participants in the marriage are of age and fully consent -- all persons currently in the marriage should have to approve and consent to any other people being added to the marriage. I know a woman who has "two husbands" even though only one of them is legally her husband, and they get along just fine. My world isn't collapsing because of them.
