6. OK My apologies to Gerald Ford and George Sr.

when I said earlier that Obama and W. were the first Presidents since Lincoln to be in any kind of shape.

I should have known better in Ford's case because he was a Football All American and had an offer to go pro with Green Bay but passed it up to go to law school instead. As I remember know he was an avid swimmer and skier in his Presidential years.

John Kerry was in pretty damned good shape in 2004 but alas - not elected.

Al Gore started off in shape as Veep but got tubby by 2000 and Bill was always tubby. Reagan was in good shape 40 years before he was Prez back when he was a movie star but as the pic shows, he was in terrible condition by the 1980's and sometimes you just shouldn't take the shirt off....
