It wasn't just Bush's policies, but also his governing style that were disasterous.

I frankly do not want a spiteful Obama using every ounce of the presidency for political purposes trying to crush the Republicans. I don't want him governing with the bluster and arrogance that he represents the views of the entire country. I don't want him trying to piece together coalitions that follow a 50+1 mentality. I don't want him appointing people based more on their political ideology than their administrative competence that results in the deaths of thousands.

I find it very perplexing that some people basically want Obama to govern like Bush. I've seen a lot of posts along the lines of "Well, Bush did this so why won't Obama?". It's because it is not only Bush's disasterous policies that got us in these numerous messes, but also his style of governing. Obama is going to act significantly differently. I welcome that as much as the fact that policies are going to change a great deal more than a lot of the superficial would-be policy analysts here and across the internet-left believe.

FYI, I'm sorry if you think this has something to do with Rick Warren because it doesn't.

2. Bush was such a liar and so self serving. I hate that you're with
me or against me shit. Bush is not bright and he surrounded himself with criminal minded people. Obama is a breath of fresh air already and I know he's smart and he wants to do right by the country.
