5. Powell seems confused about the policy these days

On one hand, he says he thinks the policy should be reviewed, on the other hand, he won't say whether or not it should be changed (or if it is changed how it should change). He has said he won't take a position on it until the Joint Chiefs do.

And, dear God, if Colin Powell isn't going to get dragged to The Hague, could he please just fade into history? Obama isn't really going to continue to legitimize this waffling war criminnal is he?

I read in The Advocate (gay news magazine) that the plan is to get rid of DADT in 2010. He wants to avoid the trouble that Clinton had when he tried to allow gays to serve openly in the military.

By bigger priorities I mean 4 to 6 issues that Obama's team has said he'll tackle in his first 100 days in office. I forget what all of the issues were, but some of them were the Economy, Healthcare, I think Iraq may have been another, I can't remember the rest.

We are on the edge of complete systemcic economic collapse and that should be the only issue he focuses on until that has shown stabilization.

I am expecting massive job loss after the holiday as nobody wants to fire someone on Christmas eve.

Everything else will have to wait until that has been addressed.
