We wish to offer our sincere apologies.
Our popular application - Presidential Administration v. 43.0, first released in January of 2001 and subsequently upgraded to version 43.1 in 2005 introduced a number of flaws to the application not previously seen in versions 42.0 and 42.1.
We are pleased to announce today that version 44.0 will be released on January 20th of 2009 and we encourage you to upgrade your system at your earliest convenience thereafter. We believe this new release will resolve the following reported bugs with versions 43.0 and 43.1. We apologize for any inconveniences and appreciate your loyalty and support.
Sincerely, Democracy Software
Amongst reported anomalies with versions 43.0 and 43.1 which will be fixed with the release of 44.0:
1) False virus threat reports resulting in system crashes when operated in Iraq under both versions 43.0 and versions 43.1
2) Slow system response reported by Louisiana and Mississippi users reported in 2005 under version 43.1
3) Interference and usurpation of resources of other applications such as Congress version 110.0, Supreme Court and Constitution v 1.27.
4) Administration v 43.0 and v 43.1 did not network well with other systems and applications located in foreign countries.
5) Administration v 43.1 failed to interface effectively with applications Wall Street 2005 through 2008, Global Economy, and Big Three and was severely affected by the Adjustable Rate Mortgage virus.
6) Administration v 43.0 and 43.1 inappropriately restricted the user rights of many Middle Eastern customers.
7) Both v 43.0 and v 43.1 were prone to respond to the user with grammatically incorrect and/or incoherent messages.
8) The Vice President module of Administration 43.x often times would inappropriately usurp control of the overall application from the President module in violation of the original design specifications.
9) The Vice President module tended to operate in a stealth mode in undisclosed locations in memory and would often interfere with the operation of other applications such as Congress 110.0.
10) The Vice President module was apparently not as user friendly as we had anticipated.
