For whatever reason, most people still have warm feeling toward the Kennedy "brand'' apart from Teddy's Chappaquidick problem, which would make it difficult to defeat Caroline if she got in. Also, until the campaign finance system and media access for candidates is radically reformed, her entre into the upper class for fundraising is invaluable.

If she had even halfway progressive impulses, she would be an improvement over Hillary.
