Government gives you Your Rights?
Now, I ain't no constitutional scholar, like some of us. Is Obama here tonight?

Some people think that the government gives people certain rights.
Well, that ain't right.

What the constitution and the Bill of Rights actually says is that the government can not pass laws that abridge the rights enumerated therein.

IMO, the people hold certain unalienable rights and the government fails when it abridges those rights.

The government has been given the right, by the people, to control certain activities. And that's it.
The rest of it is just old white guys making stuff up in order to keep control over us.
