Just how close our nation came to 4 more years of hatred. This song and video reminded me of what we all fought so hard to achieve and how close we came to continued hatred and dispair.

Paul McCartney wrote this song. It was inspired by his mother, Mary, who died when he was 14. Many people thought "Mother Mary" was a biblical reference when they heard it.

McCartney had a dream one night when he was paranoid and anxious. He saw his mom who had been dead for ten years or so; she came to him in his time of trouble, speaking words of wisdom. This brought him much peace when he needed it. It was this sweet dream that got him to begin writing the song.

Not me, and it's why I worked so hard this entire year, throughout the primaries AND the GE.

And it was CLOSE the entire time.

I thought at times I was gonna die!

I'm not going to become cynical, I was paying attention, we have to pull together and stop the petty BS amongst ourselves and WORK!
