2008 Web Log Awards - Bigot PUMA sites shortlisted

I am not sure how much credibility is given to the Web log awards but bbigot PUMA sites and bloggers are in the shortlist for the 2008 awards.

They have even been included in blogs from the left!

The Flatulence, home of Bigot Texas Darlin and full arms out brigade Nazi TechDude, (who also posts at Stormfront) was nominated for Best Liberal Blog. How on earth a full arms out brigade Nazi "birther" can be considered Liberal is beyond me.

"Uppity Woman", (I wonder how that bigot worked that name out), was nominated for Best New Blog, Deadenders was nominated for Best Hidden Gem blog.

Personally, I would not mind so much if they put PUMA bigots in with their far right counterparts such as Free Republic.

1. Someone @ DU linked to No Quarter the other day, a site I used to occasionally read,

and I couldn't believe the bigoted RW crap trying to say voter fraud put President Obama in office. I can't believe that site would be up for anything outside of a worst category.

On the other hand 538 is top of my list for 2008!

6. As much as I dislike Riverchucky.....

I didn't think TexasDarlin or TechDude posted there. TD has her own blog, and TechDud hasn't been seen much outside of the right wing "Atlas Shrugs" ever since he got laughed out of TD's blog AND NoQuarter. (Both sites have stopped pimping his birth certificate "research" in favour of the equally lying "Polarik".

And Riverchucky never bought into the birther bullshit in the past.

It appears TexasDarlin was far too embarrassing even for Whitey Johnson. TechDude never directly posted on NoQaurter (as far as I remember), but his entries were put on there by Johnson through TexasDarlin. These appear to have been taken down, but google is a friend.

You may as well say that being for Obama rather than Clinton was sexist. I can't answer for the web sites you mention in particular, but I went with the PUMAs because I was very unhappy with the way HC and her supporters had been treated. While I'm pretty happy with Obama (except for the Rick Warren thing), if the primary were today I would vote the way I did then. I didn't vote for Obama out of any sort of party loyalty. He was simply the better candidate for general election.
