If Franken was a repub and the repubs moved to seat him
before the election was certified, would you be OK with that?

2. No. Let Coleman drag this out for months.
Either way, he's finished in politics.

4. The people of Minnesota
Don't want this dragged out for months. We are the ones paying for this recount, not the campaigns. And it would be nice to have equal representation.

3. If Franken was a repub
this would be a landslide and he would have a mandate.

And the repubs don't give a fuck if I were OK with that.

5. I wouldn't be OK with that
It would set a terrible precedent. Its up to the states to decide who represents them and the Senate should wait until Minnesota certifies.

This court process might not turn out to be as long as feared.

6. Give it a little time to play out

The republicons damage no one but themselves by trying to overthrow an obviously legitimate result. Let's give them enough rope for a proper hanging. Of course, that doesn't mean we shouldn't loudly and publicly denounce what they're up to. We should definitely help to shape public perception of the situation.
