Bush is the incarnation of Mr. Magoo.
People of my age and a bit younger will remember watching the cartoon of the myopic Mr. Magoo who strode through the world causing chaos, destruction and ruin while remaining completely oblivious to the devastation he wrought. Could there be a better analogy to the past 8 years of fecklessness and turmoil? The WH legacy program underscores just how out of touch junior Bush is with his record of corruption and ineptitude. As he departs the stage and views the carnage left behind, he blames everyone else while exulting in all the joyous days of his residency.
If my analogy to a character which predates W by decades, then the age old axiom will be turned on its head. In this case history was first a farce but repeated itself as tragedy.

1. Oh, how I hated that cartoon!
My cousins would get pissed off at me cuz I would start jumping up & down & yelling "Open your eyes! Why don't you open your eyes?"

2. No, he's purposefully malicious and cold hearted. Then, he goes into denial and the rest.
There's not enough money in the world for me to take on 1/10th of his karma.

3. bush is completely detached from reality. Mr. Magoo was oblivious to the goings on around him.
bush was responsible for people losing their lives, homes and livelihood. Mr. Magoo was in contrast an oblivious bungler creating misshapes.

4.  Agreed. Hence Magoo is farce and W is a tragedy.

5. Mr. Magoo never left hundreds of thousands of dead people in his wake.

6. Correct analogy: the devil and the serpent.
Just think of the way bush changed his reasons for invading Iraq. First it was 9/11, then WMDs then, Sadam then to bring democracy to the ME.

It is very difficult to pin bush down with analogies because he slithers around them so well. There is just no other way to describe him than the devil. He even uses God to further his trashing of the world. While he does it, he claims that he's helping make the earth better. He is the wolf in sheep's clothing that God warned you about.
