7. Pool Report
When Mr. Obama arrived at the plane he posed for pictures with members of the ground crew. As he reached the plane’s doorway with the presidential seal, he turned and waved to the reporters on the tarmac and said, “See you in D.C.”

On board he met Col. Scott Turner of the Air Force and Reggie Dickson, who will be the pilot and the chief flight attendant on Air Force One once Mr. Obama is president. He ordered a cheeseburger and fries from Mr. Dickson.

Obama briefly greeted about 20 reporters, photographers and television producers on board the plane. He said he “choked up” when he left his empty house in the afternoon to come to Washington. One of his daughter Malia’s friends had dropped off a scrapbook of pictures.

8. 16 more days until we stop hearing "Why isn't Obama speaking
out about, "Israel/Palestine, the economy, etc"!! When he does speak and wields his Presidential power I suspect there might be some surprised people.

Those pictures are awesome!!

reading this choked me up...

I was thinking about him this morning,
what it must be like for him to wake up for the last time in his house...
...alone...

and be off to a most daunting adventure!

Godspeed, Barack!
I got your back!
