As president of the board, she became mayor automatically with the murders of Moscone and Milk.

She was NOT loved by the more liberal members of the city.

AND, as a superdelegate she endorsed the other candidate before I even had a chance to vote in California's primary.

So, she sucks and her suckiness has grown over time, IMHO.
