All Presidents' Lunch
January 6, 2009

(CNN) –- Talk about a power lunch. President Bush, President-elect Barack Obama and three living former presidents will meet in the Oval Office for a private gathering on Wednesday afternoon.

Former presidents Jimmy Carter, George Herbert Walker Bush and Bill Clinton will join Obama and Bush at the White House for lunch. Obama initially came up with the idea that all of the men get together after meeting with President Bush last month.

3. I'm sure that it will.
It'll be interesting to see if they only talk "shop" or tell each other anecdotes about the WH and things that occurred during their terms.

:D

8. probably both
I'd love to hear what WH secrets they give Obama.

"If you ever want to sneak out for Taco Bell, there's a 1995 Ford Taurus hidden in the garage..."

"Be sure to check out the curse words Andrew Jackson carved in the desk in the _____ room."

18. I can imagine that!
The real Presidents sitting at one table,
with the Bushes at the smaller lower table. Bush Sr. Serving one term and Bush Jr. as worse President in history.

I saw Colmes sitting in a lower chair with Colbert last night, and that visual had me cracking up.

4. Nice for them to meet in one room when no corpse is involved...
unless you count the US Constitution.

WSC: I could have been US president.
FDR: You'll just have to wait your turn!
ER: Will everybody hold still so I can focus!

Not mentioning that they were together on a mission from Jr. to aid the tsunami victims and later on the ones from Katrina.

26. No, that's incorrect.
It's the first time that they have all been together at the WH. The presidents have been together since then, but for state funerals.

;)
