Gov. Palin: Her comments were taken out of context
MSNBC: Governor Palin's office in Alaska has issued a statement that her latest comments with a conservative filmmaker have been taken out of context by the MSM. Her office also said that Caroline Kennedy is qualified to become New York's next US Senator. :wow:

1. It's fucking tough to take comments out of context
when the entire context of teh exchange is played right there on teh fucking television, you know?

I mean, they were her words. She was asked a questioin and she responded.

How the fuck is that out of context?

31. Because even peggy Noonan is blasting her...and Joe Scumborough
and Mika practically threw her under the bus and did not defend her when Suze Orman was cannibalizing Palin

4. they were also saying
that her office released a statement this morning with the header "The media : There they go again", even though the conservative "film maker" released the parts from the (snerk) documentary. They are also going to have the wingnut film maker on MSNBC at 11....wonder who gets to interview him . I bet Shuster would do well with that, heh.

8. She's always accusing everyone else of making her look bad in interviews.
At what point does it occur to her that she's simply a dim bulb?

12. Its like someone who does badly in a job interview
Instead of getting over it and preparing to do better next time, she keeps drawing attention to her failures and blaming the other person. She makes herself look worse and worse

22. Yep--exactly it. There's absolutely no self-examination, no learning from
her mistakes or past performances--which is evidence that she is simply not a very bright woman. She has enough looks and ambition and "street smarts" to manipulate her way into positions higher than her IQ would normally merit, but in the end, the stupid will come out for all to see.

35. And this constant stream of "accusations" after she makes a fool of herself is going
to make it very, very interesting when and if she decides to run either for Senate in 2010 or for the top slot in 2012.

The press are going to have a freakin' field day with her. They really haven't been able to ask her anything but yet they get accussed of "distorting" her comments when they run tape of her speaking with some right-wing hack.

Don't ever want to see her in elected office again after the guv-ship is up, but if this self-gazing woman does feel the need to throw her hat into the ring, it should be quite the spectacle once she does have to face the press regularly.

It's everyone's fault but mine. In the future, do not air what I say until my people have had a chance to review and edit it so that I don't come off like a blithering idiot. :freak: :nopity: :banghead:

unable to be rendered into a coherent thought long enough to for her garble into words & sentences for her to speak.

17. Palin doesn't have the intellect or the professionalism to hold
public office. If she thinks the media was tough on her and her response is to lash out at them, then she will never be ready to run for public office.

Also, (her favorite word)if she didn't parade her children out in front of America every damn time she took the stage, then her children would not be the mentioned in the media. She brought all of this on herself and I don't feel sorry for her.

I wish she would just fade away.

24. Boy, isn't that the truth!!!
But she'll do anything to keep herself in the public eye. Even if it means making an even bigger fool out of herself today than she did yesterday!

And the media continues to splash her around! Her and Joe the Plumber.

Edited on Fri Jan-09-09 11:53 AM by CakeGrrl
And of course, MSNBC sucks it up by doing a segment on "Sarah Palin Unplugged".

:puke:

Mooseburgers and the Whore Media...a match made in hell.

On Edit: At least Tamron Hall and David Schuster seem to be poking a little fun at the concept, but it's interesting to see Palin's team now accusing the very filmmaker who was supposed to champion her "mistreatment" cause of displaying excerpts of his own interview with her out of context. It's ridiculous how far she'll go to prevent taking responsibility for her own statements.

Editing her makes her look relatively coherent.
