- I want total world order NOW! Like, not in a couple of days - NOW!

- I want my money back from jarvis300 on Amazon - the jerk never sent me my CHUGGO CD - tha' punk!

- If the US isn't green by next week, well then SCREW IT.

I was showing a few of the Argentinian programmers who work with my fiance around town, and they kept asking "what is this Waffle House everywhere". I didn't even KNOW how to put the horror into words...I told them if they were brave they could go there by themselves but I wasn't willing to be complicit in the gastrointestinal tortures of the damned they would undoubtedly succumb to...

Cue horrors of walking 4 miles drunk in ice rain trying to find an ATM to pay off $9 Waffle House bill; you don't walk out on a Waffle House bill, that's like taungin Satan...I hear they now accept credit cards, which can only mean that more people are being tortured.

Waffle House is like some temple down here on the MS Gulf Coast. We adore them. The first chain food available after Katrina (and for many of us, hot food that wasn't served from the back of The Salvation Army or Red Cross trucks) was a Waffle House feast - mmmmmm, those waffles and how I love a good patty melt or just one of their real hamburgers.

And after a night of too much drinking, where can you go to get that much needed grease and starch that your body craves to absorb the alcohol. Mardi Gras balls that go into the wee hours don't end until you stop in full formals and tux to get that Waffle House fix.

I'm with Writer, Waffle House is non-negotiable.
