Obama now says plan could create or save 4 million jobs. Obama Report released

Barack Obama now says his stimulus plan could save or create 3 to 4 million jobs. That’s a boost of 1 million jobs from his earlier goal of 3 million, which itself was a boost from his original goal of 2.5 million. Ninety percent would be private sector, meaning as many as 400,000 new government jobs “saved from state and local budget cuts,” according to a report by Obama’s team released this morning. Another 500,000 would come from clean energy, and 400,000 would be from repairing infrastructure.

2. I do hope Obama's stimulus plan is intended mainly for our infrastructure

and not those damn stupid checks that were sent to everyone.


And won't this be a kicker when it works and it is explained that it is similar to FDR's New Deal? How much fuming will there be by the Republicans?
