Consider this - It's on a Canadian site. Far as I can tell, it's the only mention of this exercise ANYWHERE!

Isn't this type of "exercise" identical to the one the military was engaged in on 9/11?

15. Also, strangely enuff, Britain held "exercises" during the subway bombing in 2005.

By a weird co-incidence, they had their cops and military at the same subway stations at the time of the bombing.

...because I just read that not only were there exercises going on during 911, but
also on 7/7--the day of the London bombing.

"London Underground Bombing 'Exercises' Took Place at Same Time as Real Attack"

capabilities of the federal government," he added.

"It is a very public event (the inauguration) ... and one that gathers, you know, leaders in a very small environment,
essentially. So obviously we have a lot of concern about it," Stanzel said.

"But there is no credible threat at this point to the inauguration that is precipitating this."

Stanzel said Tuesday's exercise was part of President George W. Bush's commitment to ensuring a smooth handover of powers in the first transition to take place since the September 11, 2001 attacks.
