Relationship between GHW Bush and Bill Clinton?
Curious as to the relationship between these two VS the relationship between GWB and his daddy, George HW Bush. My wife and I are having a discussion pertaining to how odd it is that GHWB/Clinton are publicly linked, while GHWB and GWB are seldom, considering they are father and son, seen together in photos.

Thanks! - Steve and Sarah

6. Yes, I do have personal thoughts.
I think Poppy is just as happy as we are that the small little man that is his son is almost gone. I think he must have been a great source of embarrassment for many years.

Clinton has not.

2. This one's above my pay grade, but I'll venture a guess: NWO
New world order, globalism, etc., both were supportive of that future.

Little George? Cheney's plaything, not a real player in this, just a figurehead, no reason to talk to the big kids.

8. I agree about W....
W was the cute, little poodle that could do tricks and amuse the Republican base. He
was the one who was "electable."

W wasn't even one of the PNAC signatories. He was just a front...a pretty face.

Does anyone remember W in an interview, discussing a meeting he had right before he
decided to run? He said that his father put him in a room with George Schultz,
James Baker and some other scary people. I got the distinct feeling that these
guys are the NWO, and they told W how it was going to go down--and that he didn't
need to worry about making decisions or crafting policy--just say the lines and
crack a few jokes on the campaign trail--and they would take it from there.

7. There aren't too many people who've experienced being president.
I think ghwbush is a bit more intelligent than pee brain bush so Clinton got more in common with him. It's also possible that there is less rivalry with people on the opposite side of the fence. That might be why you don't see Carter and Clinton together much. It could also be that Carter is a bit disillusioned with the whole presidency thing.

Just my guesses.

re: pee brain.

But isnt it funny that 41 has never (really) publicly supported 43 (his own son) and he pals around with Clinton...

Yet rush limpballs and the other RW talking heads conveniently ignore this? I mean the biggest Regan republican hanging around with Hillary's "alduterous" husband, while completely ignoring his son, is totally overlooked?

Funny how they cherrypick the facts.

GHWB + Clinton + golf = PSA

GHWB + GWB = shame

10. Bill Clinton is more talented than I am..

For the life of me, I don't understand how anyone could stand next to a
murdering, Nazi-connected, corrupt, warmongering scumbag who lives to destroy
our democracy--and look so easy breezy as they yuck it up on the golf course.

I couldn't stand next to any of those neocon bastards without my neurons
completely imploding.

12. Clinton also hung out with Dick Morris
One of the biggest POS's in political history. Honesty and integrity don't seem to be very high on Bill's list of qualities he admires-and that pains me and has always given me pause.

11. BCCI. Quashed investirgations that would have destroyed BushCo.
Quid pro quo.

Bill Clinton bought into the NWO with that one covering for Bush.

13. Bill Clinton recognizes the unadulterated Machiavellian in GHW, he respects that kind of raw power

Clinton often talks about the give-and-take in politics as a 'that's the way it goes' kind of thing.

No one relates to W because all he took away from his father's and grandfather's unfettered political power was to become a Narcissistic sociopath, the ultimate "fortunate son."

At least Bill Clinton had and still has the introspection to recognize the syndrome for what it is. Bill Clinton was never a fortunate son.
