Jesus Mary and Joseph!!!

Slurred words, looks like a caged chimpanzee about to start scooping up feces and throwing it.

This incompetent fucker is in another world.

I'm amazed -- yes, AMAZED -- at the issues he chose to be "angry" about.

What a goddamned certified LOSER.

5. The home loan mischief happened when Clinton was president,
but I don't think anyone can blame Clinton for that.

10. Actually the mischief started while Bush was in office...
The fraud started while he was in office anyway. Why do you think we're bailing all the banks out? Because of the fraud of the Bush Administration and their version of "home ownership for all." The defaults started in 2006. Not 1996.

But it sounds good. Anything he says sounds good to the Republicans. Who are as desperate as he is to find something good about the past eight years.

13. Nope. I'm not sure if it started before Clinton, but I do know
that the adjustable rate mortgage crap happened at least by then. Banks were offering outrageous loans to people who could not afford them.

14. not true
the Credit Default Swaps and derivatives were on W's watch. A lack of oversight, providing loans and the default on the loans is not the majority losses.

15. Thank you...
And no one yet knows what the effect of the credit default swaps will be - they are buried in the books so to speak. They were worthless insurance against losses. Some of which cannot be covered. Only covered up. Worthless insurance that someone still made a lot of money on.

More than likely the $2+ trillion the Federal Reserve doesn't want to talk about went to cover some of it. And even more went to just cook the books to cover up what couldn't be covered and keep the banks solvent even though they're not solvent. The Enron accounting system. The system the federal government uses to "hide" debt to make things appear solvent. All told, according to some, there is about $10 trillion in Federal Reserve loans at this point related to the collapse of the money markets. And there was a collapse. Something one wants to talk about. Those are loans to banks that may not be repaid. At which point the taxpayers will repay them. It's never happened before. But might finally. Normally the Federal Reserve Bank makes short-term loans. Usually overnight. I think the longest is a 30 day note at a higher interest rate than the normal rate. These are different. They are basically just "open" promissory notes. To be paid when they can be paid. If they can be paid. The Federal Reserve along with Congress looks upon the taxpayers at this point as an ATM.

I'm also puzzled by his claiming to have inherited a recession. He created a recession. He inherited a budget surplus. Which quickly turned into what has to be the most massive budget deficit this country has ever seen. Our children and grandchildren will be paying it off. And possibly our great-grandchildren depending on what Obama does.

4. And we've not seen the last of him....
http://voices.washingtonpost.com/the-trail/2009/01/12/bush_to_give_farewell_address.html?hpid=topnews

Next comes the "Farewell Address" on Thursday. And who knows what will follow that. Maybe a "Final Thoughts" the night before the inauguration. Hopefully not to declare that one of those final thoughts was that he hadn't really done all the things he wanted to do so he's declaring martial law and having Congress and the Obamas shipped to Guantanamo.

The man is a sociopath. He really should be sedated and put in a straight jacket and just quietly sent back to Dallas on a stretcher.

7. Well that will be two of you...
Most had the impression he was not too sober today. And so probably won't be too sober Thursday either. Drunks tend to make sense of other drunks. Maybe that's what's wrong. None of us were drunk the past eight years. Apparently he was. He's a loose cannon at this point. What several in the media have said. Quite scary to think about. Even scarier to watch and listen to as he meanders around in the madness of his mind trying to find something to justify his presidency beyond the reality that is finally, apparently, hitting home.

It'e one thing to stick firecrackers in the mouths of frogs and light the firecrackers and toss the frogs in the air and watch them explode. Quite another thing to realize you're responsible for the deaths of a least a million innocent people. Just to show Daddy what a man you are after all.

17. Oh no. He's going to share his thoughts on the greatest challenges facing the country...
Edited on Mon Jan-12-09 11:12 PM by XOKCowboy
Oh I can't wait to hear that. He's also going to give us his advice on how to meet those challenges. :puke:

He's asked for network primetime to spread this bullshit. I think today's presser and this "Farewell Address" are the height of arrogance for a President who's wrecked the country. One could only hope that the networks will tell him to fuck off but that'll never happen.

I won't be watching either.

8. Keith had a little fun with the Chimpy clips.
I imagine Mike Malloy will be covering the Chimpapalooza as well. He usually manages to find the dumbest moments in every Chimp speech, and God knows this one had a lot to choose from.

16. Delusional and sociopathic....
He really is a sociopath. Many have commented on what appears to be rage of late. How dare everyone not love him. He was the uniter. The decider.

I hope we manage to survive the final days of his presidency.

18. Here is the defintion of antisocial personality disorder which is what being a sociopath is called
these days:

Antisocial personality disorder (APD) is a mental disorder. It is defined by the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual: "The essential feature for the diagnosis is a pervasive pattern of disregard for, and violation of, the rights of others that begins in childhood or early adolescence and continues into adulthood." Deceit and manipulation are considered essential features of the disorder. People having antisocial personality disorder are sometimes referred to as "sociopaths" and "psychopaths", although some researchers believe that Psychopathy/Sociopathy are not synonymous with AsPD. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antisocial_personality_disorder

Sounds like Shrub to me.
