Question for people out there
Exactly what time does Obama take the oath of office next Tuesday? I think it is 11:00 AM Central time, but I want to make sure. Planning on getting a bottle of Champagne and toasting the start of something else in America. And at the exact moment, I plan on running outside and screaming at the top of my lungs "The nightmare is over!" or something like that. A suitable song would be nice as well, but I think I can handle that. Thank you in advance for the info.

3. Well, at noon EST the O Man becomes the POTUS
regardless of when he takes the oath; so 11am CST is the time. You're going to have lots of company.

7. Yup. Great song, great singer.
What a shame Charles isn't with us. Imagine him singing that at the Inauguration - not enough Kleenex in the world.

10. I was thinking that too
Who can ever forget Mr. Charles doing that tune before Game 7 of the 2001 World Series? I had tears in my eyes and still get chills thinking about it.
