What's The Latest On Bush Pardons?..... |
|
yesterday at his presser he said he wouldn't answer the question regarding pardons. He's running out of time - seven days left. What is the latest thinking as to what he will do with respect to presidential pardons?

The list has already been submitted by Uncle Dick, and George will probably sign it by this weekend.

3. He'll sign on his way out the door, won't he? |
|
Is there a time limit? While we're paying attention to an historical event, and celebrating Obama's inaugural, he'll be penning pardons for his cabal. The ink won't even be dry by the time he hits that helicopter for the final circle around the WH.

and hucksters who have enriched themselves and robbed the Treasury flown out of DC to return to their own homes only to count their loot and bounty - free as birds with not a worry in the world.
Yup. They will be free as birds to plot how they and their cronies will return to power. Meantime they will be off to K Street and off speaking to corporations worldwide as they line their pockets with more bounty ang gain more influence and power for their upcoming takeover.

5. If he waits too long, Obama can undo those pardons. There is a precedent. |
|
It takes time to process the paperwork, and if everything isn't completed prior to Bush leaving office, Obama can intervene. There have been a couple of posts here at DU to that effect.
