I cannot imagine the Dems would deny him the first thing he asked for but it may be like the Clinton economic bill where Dems petition the leadership for permission to vote against it.

Maybe a one-vote deal.

We are three Dems short (Burris, Biden, Franken) and we don't even have the tie-breaking vote! (Still Cheney, right.)

Worried if it doesn't start banks lending again, they may be in big trouble. Can't you just hear the Repukes going around the country during mid term elections?

Obama probably should announce he has created a website where people can monitor how the money is being used. Just my opinion. It may help, win some votes. And all people facing foreclosure should be eligible for the Shelia Baer plan.
