You know that orginzation that did the ridiculous Dean ad?
This may have arleady been discussed in another thread (but I didn't see it listed, so I'll post it)

*To refresh your memory*

http://www.ajc.com/news/content/news/0104/08deanads.html

Beyond what's already been discussed, did anyone notice that they are opening up a new site to compete with moveon.org? (it's in the article)

www.moveright.org

You may want hold your vomit bags before checking it out. It's pretty sickening.

:puke: :puke: :puke:

1. are those bra sizes next to Dean's name? 46D? oooh mama.
just kidding. well, I thought Barbara Bush's quote was good. She's only good for George Washington lookalike contests and the pearl buying market.

2. Clumsy
A clumsy site for a variety of reasons:

1. Ripoff of MoveOn's name
2. Who wants to Move Right? Not Dems, not independents, not moderate Repubs. Only right-wingers so they've basically cut off most of their potential audience.
3. Their attacks are impotent.

For example on Dean:

*Trade – Supports a “New Deal” trade agreement with Mexico instead of NAFTA

I think most Americans would prefer a President who looks after their jobs.

*Minimum Wage – Would increase minimum wage, link to inflation

Inflation? There are reasons (not good ones) to oppose min wage increase, but this is one of the lamest and dishonest ones I've heard.

*Education – Against vouchers, competition

So are most Americans, moron.

*Healthcare – Advocates universal healthcare. Would expand Medicaid and S-CHIP to cover all Americans under 25 and all adults earning less than 185% of the poverty level. Mandate corporate coverage of all workers.

Why is this a bad thing. LOL.

*States’ Deficits – Supports increased federal aid
*Environment – Supports the Kyoto Protocol

Both popular and effective measures.

*QUOTES

--“The first step in reversing this agenda, balancing the budget and putting the US fiscal house in order must be the repeal of the Bush tax cuts, and returning the tax code to rates that were in effect during the prosperous years of the Clinton-Gore administration.” – DeanforAmerica.com

The Clinton tax plan created 22M jobs, the Bush plan has lost 2M jobs. Why don't we go with what worked AND balance the budget?

--“The ideologues gathered around the President have a more ambitious goal -- to repeal the progressive legacy of the Twentieth Century. They want to return to a time when private wealth was insulated from the graduated income tax” – DeanforAmerica.com website

Yes, this is common knowledge. Why should someone read this and be against Dean?

4. I love it!
These people are more likely to help Dean than hurt him. To quote their favorite President, "Bring it On!"

6. The Rebuttal
I think George Bush should take his fearmongering, crime-loving, cocaine-using, war-mongering, Geneeva Convention violating, drunk driving, aristocracy supporting, woman hating, race baiting, religious pandering freak show back to the middle ages, where it belongs

7. So all our candidates want to increase the minimum wage.
Does anyone know how high? It would have to go to $8.50 per hour just to get back to the level we were at in 1968 in constant dollars.

10. Dean will definitely raise it
He raised Vermont's twice and I've heard him say the federal minimum wage has to be brought up.
