2. Ditto! He sold himself out completely. He actually was one republican
I could almost tolerate....almost. He blew it with these two jokers.

3. But on a purely tactical level, throwing Palin into high relief . . .
And feeding her the fantasy that she can be a power in the party will be good for Dems.

I'm pretty sure she doesn't realize how damaging to 'Licanism she is. I knew from the first moment I saw her (at the convention) that she had disaster written all over her -- for America if McCain won, and for the 'Licans if he didn't.

I say, "Go for 2012, Sarah!" It'll be entertaining as hell, consume zillions of wingnut dollars, and highlight once again why Republicans are so despised.

4. It's as if McCain just handed this election right on over to Obama
he had to know he was gonna lose, he just had to.

5. Ironically I don't think he will be able to forgive himself.

This was the kind of bullshit that he would just rail about when he 'let down his hair' with the reporters.

And now he set these two nitwits up.

6. I still can't get over how he called Palin
"the most marvelous VP pick in American history", and how he's refused to even begin to acknowledge that he might have been just a teensy weensy bit wrong on that. Fucking sellout.

17. Heck, he called her a soulmate.
What a stupid thing to say about someone you've met one time. He looked very uncomfortable when he said it, too. Sellout.

7. Actually... I was glad he outed Sarah Palin
If it weren't for his bringing Palin to the nation's attention, would the American people know just how outrageous she truly is? Her kind of entertainment is rarely seen outside of daytime talk shows....(hmmm note to self: better call Jerry Springer with this notion!)

I confess to getting a lot of mileage outta' her when chattin' with my republican friends and neighbors, (yes I do have friends who are republican, and yes I do pick on them mercilessly). I'm sure they are all pretty embarrassed about their support for Sarah Palin by now because she proved beyond any doubts that it was possible to get behind someone who is obviously not as smart as a fifth grader! (hmmm better call that show too!)

Kieth Olberman was recently asked if he would chip in for a Palin 2012 fund which he agreed to do...I think we should all chip in to such a fund-hell let's push for Joe The Plumber as her VP choice as well!! They could ride around the nation in mCcain's old bus renamed The Dumber and Plumber express!

If DU got behind this...just imagine what kind of money we could make by sellin' buttons and bumper snickers-money that we could use to further undermine all things republican. By the time we got done with these two they would have trouble beating Ralph Nader in 2012 much less a genuine Democratic nominee! I say let's shove 'stupid' down repuke throats, it should be our patriotic duty! :patriot:

I mentioned that possibility to my husband last night! It would be a laugh riot of an election! Can you imagine what SNL would do with that combo! just thinking about the possibilities!!

More gifts like these would make my day, I love watching republicans make fools of themselves.

11. Pres. Obama is holding a special honorary dinner for McLame.
I guess Pres. Obama has forgiven McLame. I read that Gov. Palin was not invited.

12. Joe is overseas bolstering his
foreign policy credentials for a run for political office. All a Republican has do is push the proper fundie buttons to win approval of the "base". Both Palin and the Plumber would make a formidable team in the Republican presidential primary. I shit you not.

15. IMHO, McCain is a disgrace.
The story of the "honorable" campaign - apparently because he didn't call Obama the "n" word - is a huge, reeking, fairy tale. Republicans seem to love rewriting history.

16. Sweet!
I'll always remember / never forget the night Failin' Palin was introduced at the Repub convention - I'm sure you recall too. Remember, the Repubs went on immediately following the Dems - Obama's soaring speeches, his dear children, his rise from the most humble of beginnings to this incredible place and moment in American history, Hillary, the inclusiveness and tears. And then there she was up on that stage in St. Paul -- in the snarkiest of voices, talking about how being a small town Mayor was "kinda like being a commuunity organizer except you really do things." IT MADE ME FEEL LIKE SOMEONE THREW CRAP AND VOMIT ALL OVER ME. I have never felt so deflated.

Now? I have never felt so proud, so vindicated, so hopeful, so satisfied...politically! :)

18. Obama has a bigger heart than I have
The debates! No eye contack with Barack at one and "That one" at another. McCain was truly one of the swarmiest GOP candidates ever. He's just a damn hack.

And it was hard for him to mask his disdain for their antics even during the last week of the campaign.
