Cindy McCain almost on Dancing with the Stars......John said no...

Page Six reports that Cindy McCain nearly became a contestant on "Dancing With The Stars" -- but the idea was nixed by John McCain, which they describe as "an even worse decision" than choosing Sarah Palin for his running mate.

"Our impeccably placed source says, 'Just before Thanksgiving, Cindy McCain started talks with producers to appear as a dancer on the show. She wanted to do it very badly,'" the paper reports. "'But this week, Sen. McCain 'put the kibosh on it.'"

Hillary Clinton was invited to join the "Dancing With The Stars" tour in early 2008. Dan Quayle declined to participate in the show later that year.

1. I could see him nixing it before the election, but after, what harm would it do?
maybe she just isn't a good dancer? A worse decision that Palin? I honestly doubt that.

3. if Cloris Leachman can look good dancing
then Cindy McCain could look good. Too bad she let's John run her public life. It seems Cundy handles the money and John handles the public relations.

4. She devoted herself to helping him get elected during TWO presidential campaigns,
over the course of YEARS, and he can't let her have a little fun? What a bastard.

5. OMG, Sarah would be hilarious on DWTS.
She'd argue with the judges, use all of her taped interview sequences to air her grievances, and she would try to give orders to her professional partner. Oh please, oh please, oh please.

12. Because one is a senator and the other one is a senator's wife.
Also, because one was running for president and the other was the wife of a man who was running for president. Why would they want to end up in a reality show????

Remember what he said to her when she joked about his hair.

The sad thing is, Cindy having fun and him going to the show and laughing would do alot to reform his image right now.

11. He made the right call, but it would've been cool if his daughter had gone on
It wouldn't have won them any votes, but as the campaign fades and the post election gossip starts to surface, the McCains keep looking better and their detractors in the Republican party look worse.

14. Oh John. You're such a stick-in-the-mud.
And you know Palin would have wanted to get in on that shit too. No way she would have let Cindy one-up her!

Damn you John McCain!

15. After all she did for him! I guess she is only fit to
be his servant. Not allowed to have a life of her own.
