Bruce Bartlett on CSpan tearing Bush to pieces...
Former Deputy Asst. Treasury Sec. for Economic Policy 1988-93.

He is hoping that on Wednesday, Republicans will learn to think for themselves and wake up to what Bush has pulled. Interesting conversation.

1. Too late, much too late
Bush got away with it. The time to speak out against him has passed.

2. Well yes, but given the choice of better late than never, or nothing..
I'll choose better late than never.

5. It's late, yeah, but that doesn't mean
it shouldn't be talked about now so another fucking bush doesn't rear his ugly head.

7. Amen to that. 9-11 and Katrina are both
indicators of how the Bushes feel about everyone else: screw you - you're on your own, your safety means nothing to us.

6. I am listening to this guy right now on cspan.org
He really criticizes Bush. And I know the republicans listening are pissed at him. I especially liked when he scolded that caller about Bush keeping us safe...he said "9/11 happened on his watch, he didn't keep us safe that day, he was responsible".

It was awesome. That's one republicans that gets it.
