3. Of course not!...He's a fucking dick-head!
Obama knows that the chimp is a fucking dick-head asshole traitor.

He's being gracious and playing politics.

If Obama doesn't investigate and prosecute the chimp admin, then he himself will join the ranks of dick-head asshole traitor.

The rule of law must prevail! (Except for my pot, of course) :smoke:

19. Exactly right. If Obama goes after Bush you can flush all of the reasons most people voted for
Obama right down the toilet. It would do nothing but trigger all out political warfare. Obama was elected to fix the economy, health care and our foreign policy, not to wage a vendetta against Der Chimpenfuhrer...Don't get me wrong, I would like to see Cheney, Rummy and the rest of the cabal in jail, but I'm not willing to trade a depression for it...

25. That makes no sense at all.
Ever heard of multi-tasking? It's not as if our legislators can only handle one thought at a time.

If there is no rule of law in this country, then all the rest is bullshit. Big shots can do anything they want, which means we will continue to get screwed by our "leaders".

If there is no rule of law....no consequences for the worst sort of traitorous behavior, we're truly fucked.

10. He was a charming man, someone who was only ever nice to me - Former maid of Hitler
In this case I know that PE Obama is a politician but in his tiny mind I think W thinks he really did have the "right stuff". Nothing could be further from the truth. Even Hitler had his defenders:

Zimbabwe: ‘Hitler was the perfect boss’; maybe Mugabe is too

http://www.thoughtleader.co.za/traps/2008/12/04/zimbabwe-%E2%80%9Chitler-was-the-perfect-boss%E2%80%9D-maybe-mugabe-is-too/

Rosa Mitterer, a former maid in the employ of the mass murderer and Nazi Fuehrer Adolf Hitler (1931 to 1935) has finally decided to break her silence and share some of her wonderful memories with us. The fact that it has taken this 91-year-old woman a mere 63 years after World War II to reach this conclusion must not detract from her fascinating account of the other side of Adolf.

“He was a charming man, someone who was only ever nice to me, a great boss to work for. You can say what you like, but he was a good man to us.”

While some of you may be literally gob smacked by Frau Mitterers’ misty water-coloured memories of the way they were (I know, I know), I am not in the least bit surprised. Everybody has someone out there who believes that they have been misunderstood by the rest of the world, irrespective of how disgusting the individual’s conduct has been shown to be.

..........

Rationalization is not a good thing in this matter. We must tell it like it is and was. When the war crimes come up to the AG I would hope that rationalization does not come into the thinking when it comes to making Bush/Cheney and their thugs pay for what they have rendered.

Edited on Sat Jan-17-09 05:19 PM by ClarkUSA
Bush, Hillary, and McCain don't deserve it, but that's why Barack is a better person than they are/will be.
And he is a grownup who sees that healing the country and building a consensus for Change is his most
important job right now, as opposed to attacking Bush in a primetime interview, which would hardly help
him pass much-needed legislation in Congress.

He always tries to see the good in others. In this case he is just plain wrong about Bush. Bush isn't the stupid dunce victim he plays on TV, he is evil to the core. He is also a typical Faux Christian.

great angst. Do they vote yes to try and polish bush's turds which results in supporting Obama's position (an anathema to them) or do they vote no and betray their hero?

17. Why Obama said it
It is my view that Obama's desire to gather as much support possible from Republicans for his stimulus package and other future measures led him to pretend that Bush is a good guy, so as to appear friendly.

21. That poll question desperately needs a caveat, I mean...
"I mean, I think personally he is a good man who loves his family and loves his country," Obama said...

Hitler loved family, friends and country.

Doesn't mean the Hitler was a good guy and it should not be stated that either of these guys are good guys without the additional explanation of what is meant.

Good guy, is not meant as good guy.

He only means it in a general sense.

I also think Bushie is less evil than just a puppet. The truly evil people: Cheney, Rumsfeld, the other neocons.

Where over 100,000 Iraq's die

tens of thousands of U.S. Soldiers are injured for life

And he can't even own up to his mistake. He won't even say he's sorry!
