Advice for the next two days. Hydrate
My SO has already caught me getting "weepy" a few times as I talk about how huge this is for us.

I'm sitting tonight in Savannah, Georgia (aka Deep South) where black people used to swing from trees, not be elected to the highest office in the land. I cant wait. Tomorrow we celebrate MLK's birthday, then Tuesday, well you know.

Carry on, but be sure to drink plenty of water with your champagne and spirits.

1. Good advice, NightWatcher. This afternoon I had to go outside and
walk around and breathe the snowy air just to enjoy and come down from the unexpected emotion of today's event. It seemed overwhelming. And that was even before there were any liquid spirits around.

SE Pennsylvania here.

3. Don't hydrate too much if you're in DC...port-o-potty shortage and all....
Carry on!
