Watching the Inauguration on TV?

Who are you going to watch?

I'm thinking MSNBC, but then I remember that a lot of the time their chatter is too distracting, even though it's gonna be Tweety and KO.

I see that CSpan is going to be covering it all. Maybe them?

And then I notice that PBS is doing a simple 3-hour stretch, and PBS usually has no commentary.

I'm conflicted here.

1. I'll probably watch c-span, then peek at MSNBC

from time to time. The one thing I remember from the last inaugural was c-span showing * rolling down the street in his limo getting pelted with eggs and the people booing loudly. And C-span showed it all. Not that I expect to see that--but I'd rather see what's going on on the ground than hear some guys chattering about it.

2. CNN is in HD, but I hate their chatter.. MSNBC will most likely be it for

pre-gaming.. and tape the speach in HD.. I'm assuming that an Inauguration montage disc collection will be produced.. with the concert and activities and events... I'm hoping so.. The Obama's seem to throw a good party.
