A perceived diss towards Rev. Robinson because HBO didn't show him, however many on DU lecture us that religion has no place being a part of this inaugural celebration

Concern because the inaugural committee sold the TV rights to the concert to HBO and HBO turned around an UNSCRAMBLED the signal and the revenue from the sale of the TV rights was used to offset the cost of the inaugural which others are bitching about.

Its only Sunday and the FUCKING POUTRAGES are already being created by folks determined to find a reason to be unhappy about.

There's plenty of joy about, so bask in it and ignore that which annoys.

Being the defender of the faith must be tiring.

Many dissenters are being quiet right now out of respect and because many of them are actually happy (albeit with some reservations) and relieved by this turning of the page. Most of the more vocal critics here are STILL in the fold.

Shouting down the disappointed, annoyed or downright angry isn't going to make them go away. Their ideas and opinions will rise or fall on their merits, and the interplay goes on.

Even the more shrill and fixated of the dissenters STILL want this regime and this man to succeed, they generally just want reversal of certain policies or acts.

Those who can't tolerate disagreement are disagreeable people. Those who can't find happiness in a veritable SEA OF HOPEFUL RELIEF have a big problem, and need to join the human race and accept some reality: unanimity simply doesn't exist. One of our sacred obligations to our fellow man is to find a way to be in some other mood than a blistering thirst for vengeance, and to accommodate the bizarre failings of the endless inferiors who plague us so. Finding some mechanism to be happy is a bit of a plus, too.

It all smacks of a sanctimonious desire to whip up the frenzy to crush all dissent. Repeatedly railing against the dissenters also just drags down many otherwise happy people who had managed to enjoy the moment before being reminded of the skeptics, so don't let it all spoil your fun, and don't spoil the fun of those who were doing fine before being reminded of the ingrates.
