Who do you think Bush will pardon today?
Today will be the day that the Idiot in Chief issues a flurry of pardons. Who do you think he will pardon?

My predictions:

1) Karl Rove
2) Dick Cheney
3) Himself!!

What are your guesses??

8. Yes, when they didn't defiantly blast em out on Friday....
I figure they will now sneak them in under distraction of the Inaguration on Tuesday morning and then scurry like cockroaches out of town before they can be asked about them...:eyes:

2. He's not pardoning Rove or Cheney or Rumsfeld
They are not under indictment, and if he pardoned them for crimes that "may have been committed", then he is admitting that they may have done something wrong.

Scooter Libby will get pardoned, and a bunch of other unknowns will get pardons, like a bunch of old men in Tennessee convicted of running moonshine 35 years ago.

4. I'm not sure that he can do what everyone thinks he can.
Aren't pardons only for those who have been convicted of a Federal crime?

Rove, Cheney, and Little Shit haven't been convicted of anything yet. I know Ford pardoned Nixon before any conviction, but I would bet if Bush tried to pardon himself and his cronies before any charges had even been filed, there would be a nasty legal battle over it.

Plus, I don't think a President can pardon himself to prevent being charged and convicted of a crime he committed while in office.

Of course, Bush has never really been bothered with little things like the law of the land... :eyes:

16. No pardons are not just for those convicted.
A president has absolute power under the Constitution to pardon for any crimes, charged or not. Ford pardoned Nixon when he hadn't been charged with anything.

7. He better make sure the pardon's are delivered before Obama swears in
I read an article yesterday that the president is within his rights to revoke a pardon as long as it hasn't been delivered/fully executed.

13. My guess is that the pardons are all done
and he will mention them on his way out of town @ 1:30 or maybe not.

Blackwater thugs, Gonzales, Libby, Harriet Harriet Myres, Schlozman,
Rove, and maybe Kenny Blackwell.

necessary. I don't get the entire premise of it...
