As an atheist, gay and why I'm not surprised.
About Obama, HBO and Robinson.

"Whatever you neglected to do unto one of these least of these, you neglected to do unto Me!"

“All things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them.”

Doing the right thing and being a christian is hard to follow, I suppose.

1. ya know - would it have hurt Obama to show some couth?
He's definitely already showing some tarnish with this symbolic gesture of "unity".

2. That's what gripes me.
He wants unity.

But, he doesn't think gays deserve the exact same rights as everyone else.

I call that being a hypocrite.

You can't allow a group of people to be isolated from the rest of society without leaving the door open to other groups as well.

There will be no unity as long as discrimination is allowed.

5. I feel bad for the Bishop
He worked hard to put this prayer together that no one heard or saw. How does one forgive something like this? Has Obama responded yet? Is there an answer that would be a balm for this wound will all feel. Or should we just admit, he's hasn't got the balls to stand up to the pressure of equality for all?

10. Yeah, Only 3 - 400,000 Heard Him Yesterday...
And I heard it's to be replayed for the 3 - 4 million there tomorrow. The invitation to be there at all has got to be some kind of slight too.
