Something unusual about yesterday's event -- almost no protesters.

Usually during a major event like this, here in DC, the protesters are everywhere protesting everything you can imagine. Yesterday I only saw one significant protest -- some hardcore anti-gay/anti-abortion religious types. There were also a couple of other kooky individual protesters but other than that nothing. Obama seems to have defused the anger -- at least for now.

1. Did you see the anti-"Baby killers, Jesus mockers, homo-sexuals, etc." sign?

It was right where you cross Constit. Ave. to get on the Washington Monument grounds, right by the old canal building near the WWII monument.

2. Yes, they were weird. We shouted back as we passed by...

A bunch of were shouting "give it up morons!" and other similar comments.

3. I told my friend - "gee they've got everyone we know listed!"

Our enemies do us credit, don't they?

they'll probably be everywhere, trust me.
