The inauguration of Barack Obama

I have to say first off I did not want Barack Obama in the primary, I am a big fan of Hillary Clinton. With that said, this is my feelings on Barack Obama's inauguration.

I wish Barack Obama and his Administration the best and hope that they succeed on getting America back on the right track. After eight years of the Bush Presidency this will not be a easy task.

I am still hurt that Rick Warren is giving the invocation at the inauguration and will not get over it anytime soon. I will be keeping a close watch on Obama's Administration (as I am sure many others will be) when it comes to civil rights for the GLBT community. As a citizen it's not only my right but my civic duty.

Our economy is in a shambles but Barack Obama has put together a top team to tackle this problem and has stated this this is a top priority as soon as he takes office.

America is hated all over the world because of the Bush Presidency, all the good will that we have ever earned has been lost. With Hillary Clinton as the Secretary of State I feel that we will once again begin to shine as a nation among other nations.

Time is short to get this posted, I just wanted to give some thought about tomorrows inauguration. So in closing I will say this, God speed to President Barack Obama and his Administration, we need you more now than ever.
