... I dont think Barack needs any help with his speech.

I DO appreciate the inclusiveness of it ..... that he wants to speak for all of us and that's what the song was trying to do.

But no one can speak like Barack. I could dress up like the Mona Lisa ... but I'd never be as lovely.

5. I don't see why he should get much credit.
Obama's campaign combined with Howard Dean's strategies and an ailing economy (not to mention McCain's choice for Vice-President) are what won the day.

7. I think a lot.
He was wonderful singing One Love with Herbie Hancock and Sherly Crow yesterday. I do wonder who asked him to change the word in his rap though.

9. Zero credit.
There are hundreds of factors in this election that were vastly more important than this video that nobody ever saw.

10. Correct.
Also, I felt there was too much projection onto Obama of what the creators were hoping him to be.
Give Obama time, he will prove himself.

Luckily, it didn't drive too many people away from Obama.

19. Why does everyone think they deserve credit for his win?
Or think someone else deserves credit for his win?

20. Not a lot, and I watched it and loved it.
I think if Obama hadn't shown his value as a candidate, it wouldn't have mattered how he was marketed. He's the real deal, I think. And have thought that for a long time.
