Well it is clear: ABC's Jack Tapper is a GOP talking point tool
He just repeated GOP/Bush talking points that about closing Gitmo will make American unsafe and there will be terrorists walking out on the streets again.

I am not surprised, ABC (aka Disney) has had it for Obama for a long time.

He's one of those bend-over backwards former liberals.
Now that he has a chance to make the big bugs as an "unbiased" reporter on the TV, he's trying his damndest to prove he's no longer a liberal like when he was writing for salon.com and he does so by bashing the left and coddling the right every chance he gets.

4. I didn't realize that he was a former liberal
he certainly was never a fan of Obama - or Kerry 4 years before.

5. Yeah, check out some of his articles in salon's archives
From 5+ years ago, before he got his job on ABC news. He came down hard on Bush's false claim of WMDs, among other things.

6. That is sad - I wonder what caused him to change as much as he did
In his case it can't be 911, unless there was a LOOOONG delay. (Until I started posting, I almost never looked at the reporter's name - Though obviously, I looked at columnists.)

Thanks

11. Good point - going to ABC was likely much more money.

3. Ed Henry was following the same lines
The only alternative to Obama's plan is keeping the place open indefinitely, and that's not going to work.

8. And they seemed so sad about the no torture thing.
No torture? Not even a little? Not even for Bin Laden?

They must have had tickets to the next "severe" interrogation.

9. Does abc nooze have any non-corporate stooges on staff?
Seems being a corporate toady is a prerequisite for employment with abc nooze.

12. That has been official for a while. On Tuesday , he was ranting about the use of Obama's full name
during the oath. Said it was hypocritical as they did not want to use it during the campaign.
