Solution For Gitmo Detainees.....?
Why not send them ALL to Sheriff Joe in AZ....put his current group in

regular prisons and let Sheriff Joe deal with them...and have the Senior Senator from

AZ. (McLame) oversee things....they're used to sand and heat and they may like

the color pink as a nice change....why not give it a try ??

4. I say send them you and let them have at it.
People like you and your disgusting hate of our way of life will do more then any terrorist has ever dreamed of to bring our country down.

It is time for trials if found guilty then punish to punish people with out trials is not American.

5. Do you realize how stupid and raciest this is?
You may be trying to be funny, but it's not. Do yourself a favor and delete it now.

7. On a serious note
We need to seperate those we can prosecute from those we cannot. Then we need to find all reasonable ways to repatriate them to their home countries. Those that cannot be repatriated will need to find some mechanism for asylum inside the United States. Among those we can prosecute, we need to try and move them to standard federal prisons for legal punishment as required by due process.

That's why this whole process could take up to a year to fix and close.

8. um.... I'm guessing you're familiar with ol' Sheriff Joe, then...
I don't know if this would be better or worse for them. He is "popular" here, apparently... The only thing I actually like about him is that he does do a lot to fight animal abuse, and there can never be enough work and awareness for that... but, I'm not really on the same page as he is otherwise... but a lot of people are - he keeps getting re-elected.

I think it's sort of ugly that people are clamoring "Not In My Back Yard" per the detainees, but seem to be perfectly happy to ask other countries to use their back yards - somehow that's more feasible. I think it's hypocritical.

What I don't understand is why they have to be "moved" at ALL, if the entire system and facility is completely revamped per new, ethical standards, and because of stigma, a name change could be in order. I'm not sure I understand why a physical relocation is necessary to do the process and trials correctly and lawfully.

Oh, maybe because it's not US soil so we can't apply US laws? But it's okay to send them overseas? I'm confused.
