The Oval Office looks the same but more barren. Are they going to paint
and redecorate at all? If even a small bit? At least get rid of the current art work?

4. I have seen a couple with Obama at the desk and
the room looks the same with just some pictures missing. But I did find this interesting site. It seems from what I can tell that the decoration has not yet begun. Couldn't find the other ones I was talking about but the room looks rather shabby, layers of white paint and generally drab. I think it needs some plants honestly.

3. I think the most disrespectful thing shrub ever did (with regard to
parents who have lost their children in the war) was his little comical act looking for WMD in the oval office. How distasteful, embarrassing and just plain wrong.

5. Give it time. Real work first, I'm sure redecorating is on the list.

6. There's an episode of the West Wing where they flash back to Bartlet's first few days in office
And his secretary brings in a book of pictures explaining him that he can have any paintings from the Smithsonian or National Gallery to decorate the Oval Office that he wants. Bartlet who is busy with other stuff exclaims that he wants Apollo 11.

I think that they will get around to decorating the Oval Office but it's not the first thing on the agenda.

7. I'm sure they're picking out the designs
You know he's going to want to put his own touch on the Oval Office.

8. They've already taken down a lot of the art work....
