8. I do feel the Senate pick was less about Kennedy than leadership/Schumer choice.

Knowing how Chuck's insinuating himself to various local races to build his power, a fair-minded Kennedy connected to Obama was not in his cards. Whatever Caroline's mistakes, and I think more the people responsible for her roll-out and the knife-wielding Dem machine, she would have been better than the media deconstructed picture.

I hope Caroline can clean up the story, her image, and serve the administration somehow. She needs to.
