Obama is kicking ass and taking names!
This is amazing.

Has a president since FDR acted this fast in such a short amount of time?

1. Day One.
We knew he was ready. He's been chomping at the bits to get to work. Good on him.

4. Only possible because Ds control Congress.
If the Rs were in charge he couldn't move so quickly. Doesn't mean his fellow Ds won't give him trouble, but it's easier with them.

5. The Congress can't stop executive orders can they?
Most of his work so far has been focused on executive orders reversing Bush's disastrous policies.

6. I used to think of our government as a large ocean liner
that would take a good amount of time to turn around. Obama is turning it around like it's a sports car!

Far better than I ever hoped or imagined.

7. Low hanging fruit
Obama is having to spend his time undoing 8 years of total mismanagement and treason. There are alot of things that can be done on day one unfortunately.

15. Methinks he was back from a quickie and planning the next one.
He was on vacation or at Camp David for more than one THIRD of his Presidency.
That would mean he took more than every third day off.

12. Obama is doing very well in my book, and I have had lots of reservations.
I hope he keeps it going. Obama could be one of our greatest presidents.

13. I don't think there's much doubt of that. But he's serving in terrible times.
Imagine if we could have installed him with the 80's market!

21. he knows he's got one hell of a mess to clean up, and he's not wasting any time . . .
getting started . . . if these first few days are indicative of the kind of president he will be, we may actually be able to survive the BushCo catastrophe after all . . .
