Some Repubs are in a funk because Obama won. For example, Bush's speechwriter
Steve Benen rips apart this assertion by Marc Thiessen, chief speechwriter for Bush:

"Obama is already proving to be the most dangerous man ever to occupy the Oval Office"

Is the GOP giving out free crack?

6. It's the reason they lost.
I hope they keep pushing this delusional BS for the next several elections.

Anything they can do to help strengthen the Democratic majority is welcomed.

8. No, no no, everybody, y'all misunderstand Mr. Thiessen
What he means is Obama is articulate, intelligent, and refined, and doesn't need a speechwriter. Therefore, he is very dangerous to Mr. Thiessen, who who probably had to use flash cards with Bush to get him to understand the alphabet.

9. I heard Thiessen last night on BBC radio.
He was petulant and combative about everything. They're so afraid of any success the new administration may enjoy, so scared of being found out as frauds, they're trying to rewrite the past eight years for Bush's legacy and lay as many traps in logic and semantics for the next four/eight years as they can. The only battle they can win is the rhetorical one.

10. They are filling the nation's oped pages with lame crap like this.
The theme is "Obama is dismantling the critical systems whereby Bush kept us safe for 7 years" like gulags holding 16 year old boys grabbed on a rumor.

The lameasses are trying to get their last licks in. They did not receive the message that America sent in November.

Watch for GOP candidates to run on this in 2010. Watch which DINOs get in a defensive crouch about it.
Notice there's been not one peep out of neocon McCain best friend Joementum. Coward!

The author of "is our children learning", "fool me you cain't get fool'd agin" and my personal favorite: "Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we,” Bush said. “They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.”

Jeeeenyus.

Isn't that like Chief Songwriter for Lisa Marie Presley?
