Imagine the gigantic spiritual, emotional rush of Obama
on inauguration day? I wonder what he was thinking of...MLK,the dream, or hoping he'd remember his speech?....how friggin cold it was?...not many people have EVER been in that extraordinary position of looking out as far as the eye could see at the coupla million folx all gathered just for him...how in the world could anyone ever put it into words?...( I certainly expect a memoir someday)...I'm just blown away by how profoundly special he must've felt, with all the responsibility that comes with it. As always, he looked like the cool cucumber he always is, the steady level headed statesman who turned into the big guy...but my God, what a rush it must've been! Maybe for him,it was just the icing on the cake from election night, but I still get misty looking at my newspaper pic of the crowd from his view.

3. I hadn't thought of his Mom.
I bet that's what he was thinking. How could a person not get teary eyed? I thought I saw some mistiness in Michelle, but that was later.

2. What I was thinking last night was
how the family would wake up and thing..."Wow. I'm really, really, really in the White House! It's not a dream!"
