Hiya everyone,

Just got back from Washington yesterday, will post photos soon, but for now...the single most wonderful few moments of my life: listening to Pete Seeger and Bruce Springsteen singing This Land Is Your Land at the Sunday concert, and watching Barack Obama sing along....we sang and danced and hugged folk we didn't even know, it felt like the world was, after all, a beautiful place. Do I sound like an old hippie? :-) Maybe. What the hell!

4. That was also my biggest point of victory. Not only because it has

connected Democrats since FDR but because I was about 4 years old the first time I heard that song on the radio. I also love Pete.

9. I knew we had come a long way when I saw Barack singing along to this

as Pete Seeger and Bruce Springsteen performed to honor his inauguration.

"This Land Is Your Land" would not have been performed at a Republican inauguration, and probably not too many, if any Democratic ones.
