You know what I love?
When the WH reporter is standing in front of the White House and says.....

"Today, the President stated that ........, and the Administration confirms that ......"

Then you stop, think and realize that they are talking about President Obama and the Obama administration and the Obama White House! :bounce:

6. No kidding.
My daughter and I were in an eye doctor's waiting room this morning and they had the news on...the talking heads were reporting on the President and it took me a minute to realize I no longer needed to cringe when I hear those words!!!

8. Same here...
Edited on Sun Jan-25-09 01:01 AM by jenmito
when I watch the news and they start talking about what "the administration says..." or "the President says..." it takes a second for it to sink in that it's OBAMA that they're talking about and I unroll my eyes. I'm still on automatic eye-roll mode when I hear anything coming from "the administration," "the White House," or "the President." What a GREAT feeling once I realize I WANT to know what they have to say! :bounce:

11. When they say "The President" I reflexively think of Bush....then , slowly, the realization
breaks over me....Bush isn't "the President" anymore. Barack Hussein Obama is "the President". How very, very sweet it is....

16. I just listened to a radio talk about slavery.
The author called Obama "The Big Chief". And I realized just how big this is. From enslaved people to the White House.

I know what you mean. I get flashes that go from frustration to delight as I realize who is gone and who is now here.

Yes!
