4. Yeah, I'm still not feeling it...
Edited on Sun Jan-25-09 03:34 AM by Clio the Leo
... and I doubt I ever will be.

He looks like he's suffering from a head cold and didn't get enough rest. One of the poorer shots I've seen of him. (and that's saying something)

And so, I will continue to pretend THIS is still the official photo.....

(but I will admit that it is fun to see his face THAT close up .... know I know what Michelle sees.)

5. Dang, I love to see that smile.
Just love it.

Nothing feels like it could be all that bad - when I look at that smile.

6. As much as I love Obama's smile, I appreciate the serious look for the official photo.
Bush was smiling smugly in the previous one. Obama's serious and thoughtful look in the official photo shows that he takes the office seriously.

Obama knows he has a killer smile. I'm sure he made a conscious decision not to show his teeth here.

7. The background is too light and it's need of a good...
.... bit of Photoshopping.

I'm as big of an Obama cheeleader as they come, but I'm callin' in my card on this one.

The man is so photogenic it hurts .... rarely takes a bad shot. We need a do-over.

11. I'm pretty sure it was the official White House photographer....
Edited on Sun Jan-25-09 09:22 AM by Clio the Leo
.... that's been with him forever. His name escapes me. He's published a photo essay book. Wonderful, wonderful book. (the one that shows Barack running up the Capitol steps.)

edit to ad: You're talking about the pic that *I* posted? That I dont know about .... I thought you meant the one in the OP.

13. I am still waiting for his portrait to be hung at post office and federal buildings
Apparently the Government Printing Office won't meet demand until next month.

14. I work for HUD and it's going to be so nice coming in to work everyday and seeing
portrait of Obama and Shaun Donovan all over the agency. What a way to start my early mornings, coffee in hand!! :)

15. I like it. This photo of President Obama makes me feel he is someone who is confident,
human, and someone I can trust.

I hope I am right.
